Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Area Sales Manager to drive business growth within the pharmaceutical and healthcare markets. This role involves managing and expanding a portfolio of customers, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating closely with marketing and product teams to achieve sales targets.
Region Capital Region Copenhagen with some travel within assigned territory for distributors management.

Sales Strategy & Planning
• Develop and execute territory-specific sales plans aligned with company goals.
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities and gaps.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
Business Development
• Identify, target, and acquire new clients.
• Strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and upsell opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
Market Engagement
• Monitor competitor activities and industry trends.
• Attend trade shows, conferences, and customer events to represent the company.
• Conduct regular client visits to maintain strong relationships.
Collaboration & Promotion
• Partner with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
• Provide feedback from the field to support product development.
Performance & Reporting
• Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of interactions and sales activity.
• Provide detailed reports on market performance to senior management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare markets.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Willingness to travel frequently (40%).
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English.
