From Hobby to Professional

Mads has an impressive background, having worked with LEGO on the game engine SDK, which LEGO distributes to game developers, and the LEGO Microgame for Unity. These experiences allowed him to merge his love for game development with professional expertise. Additionally, Mads has taught C# and game development, sharing his skills and knowledge with aspiring developers.

Joining UV Medico as a Software Developer

At UV Medico, Mads is excited to create software from scratch, a responsibility and privilege he eagerly embraces. He values experimenting and learning about physics, engineering, and the newest rendering algorithms. Mads enjoys the dynamic nature of his work, which keeps his mind sharp and engaged in the ever-evolving field of software development.

He is particularly inspired by the opportunity to own the development process fully, merging advanced rendering techniques with the complex physics of UV radiation. Mads finds this challenge immensely fulfilling, embodying the spirit of overcoming obstacles to achieve greatness.

When he’s not working, Mads enjoys making video games, participating in game jams, and shooting pistols.

Michael Rørmand Ravn, our new Warehouse Manager at UV Medico. Michael brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to our logistics and warehouse operations, and we’re excited to have him on board.

Background & Experience

Michael, 39, lives in Lisbjerg, just outside Aarhus, with his wife of 11 years and their two children, aged 7 and 3. His professional journey began in a dealership where he handled auto spare parts, gaining valuable experience in logistics and warehouse management over four years. Although his background is in auto parts, the principles of efficient warehouse operations remain the same, and Michael is ready to apply his skills to our dynamic environment.

What inspired Michael to join UV Medico was the opportunity to tackle new challenges. He saw potential in reorganizing our warehouse into a highly functional facility. His problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for optimizing processes make him a perfect fit for this role. Michael is looking forward to transforming our warehouse operations and taking them to the next level.

Known for his dark sense of humor, Michael brings a unique and entertaining personality to our team. A fun fact about Michael is that he can often be found cracking jokes that not everyone gets, but they always keep things interesting.

Say hello to Yiwen, the newest member of our marketing team, who brings a ton of experience in journalism, research, and content creation to UV Medico. With her diverse background, Yiwen is set to enhance our content strategy and storytelling.

Background & Experience

Yiwen's journey has been anything but ordinary. Starting her career with an undergraduate degree in journalism, she worked as an investigative journalist and feature reporter, publishing over 50 journalistic pieces across top media outlets in China and Europe. Her passion for uncovering stories and amplifying unheard voices has been the cornerstone of her work.

Transitioning into communication and marketing, Yiwen has crafted content strategies for a tech company and an NGO, showcasing her ability to blend storytelling with strategic marketing needs. Her diverse expertise equips her with a unique ability to create compelling and impactful content.

What Inspired Yiwen to Join UV Medico as a Content Creator?

Yiwen is driven by UV Medico's commitment to Far-UVC disinfection technology, a cause that deeply resonates with her. “I genuinely aspire to work for key players that contribute to the public good.” she shares. When she’s not crafting engaging content, Yiwen enjoys strength training, swimming, reading literature, and diving into arthouse films. Funny enough how, despite once being terrified of dogs, she now adores them, thanks to her mum bringing home their first dog seven years ago. Now, seeing a dog makes her smile and squeak softly inside
