The UV222 Ambulance offers seamless installation in the rear cabin, making it the Far-UVC solution for ambulances.
Fixed or portable? Vertex 222 is ideal for various environments seeking a safer, cleaner space
The UV222 Compact is an integrated Far-UVC solution designed for infection control in the front cabin of an ambulance.
UV Medico Installed our UV222 Ambulance lamps in 56 new Falck ambulances in Region Zealand - Denmark, a significant step forward in improving ambulance disinfection and safety standards. To assess the antimicrobial effect, UV Medico collected samples before and after Far-UVC exposure. After two hours of exposure, the bacterial load was significantly reduced across all tested surfaces
Reducing Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAIs) is one of the most significant benefits of using Far-UVC. HAIs can lead to longer hospital stays, additional treatments, and higher medical costs. Our lamps showed a remarkable reduction in microbial load, decreasing pathogen presence by up to 99.9% on ambulance
The lamps operate safely around humans, utilizing a Far-UVC light at 222 nm, which does not penetrate human skin or eyes, ensuring it poses no health risks during operation.
Cost-effectiveness and environmental advantages make Far-UVC a smart choice for decontamination. Traditional chemical cleaners can be expensive and generate waste that is harmful to the environment. Far-UVC, on the other hand, leaves no residue and requires minimal maintenance.
