Jordi Amagat Molas

Ph.D. - Segment Manager Life Science and Pharma

Jordi Amagat Molas is our Segment Manager in Life Science and Pharma with a Ph.D. in Biological and Chemical Engineering, boasting expertise in biomaterials and medical devices at UV Medico. Jordi is driven by a passion for science, a collaborative spirit, and a love for global exploration.

Jordi Amagat Molas is a seasoned biotechnologist and scientific researcher at UV Medico, specializing in biomaterials and medical devices. He holds a Ph.D. in Biological and Chemical Engineering from Aarhus University, Denmark, where he was part of the Nanofiber Technology and Cellular Engineering group.

A wanderlust at heart, Jordi moved to Denmark in 2016 and established a thriving career there. He started his academic pursuit as an undergraduate researcher at the Ditlev Egeskov Brodersen Lab (DEBLab), focusing on structural biology. During his master's degree, he served as a research assistant in the same university, mainly working on the engineering aspects of Biological and Chemical Research.

At UV Medico, he is the Segment Manager focused on Life Science and Pharma developing new products, participating in medical trade fairs, and driving scientific communications and research.

His passion for science since high school combined with a spirit of exploration has shaped his both personal and professional life into an exciting journey of continuous learning and discovery.
