What is the Far-UVC absorption in water? Is the light's reach the same as in the air?

Absorption Characteristics of Far-UVC Light in Water vs. Air

Far-UVC absorption in water is significant. Theoretical values are ~70% absorption per meter, but this seems to be true only for clean water (i.e. distilled, demineralized, and filtered). We have done some quick tests that suggest 50% absorption in ~5-10 cm for tap water. This means that Far-UVC is less efficient in water than in air.
