The regulations always refer to 8 hour exposure. What happens with longer exposure?

The TLV is given as a workplace regulation, hence the 8 hours, but it is a daily limit. If Far-UVC lamps are more widely used in public places outside of working hours, the daily dose should of course be adjusted.

The Threshold Limit Value (TLV) is given as a workplace related regulation, hence the 8 hours, but is a daily limit. If Far-UVC lamps are more widely used in public places outside the workplace (public transport, restaurants, etc.), the daily dose should of course be adjusted to the relevant time frame. In the configuration of our lamps, we include the time of exposure as a parameter in the dose calculation.

However, as you may know, new TLV values have already been proposed that allow much higher daily doses, recognizing the extensive scientific evidence of Far-UVC safety over the past decade.
