Testing germicidal efficacy of UV222
We recommend the use of dipslides or swabs instead of ATP tests.
ATP is an essential energy molecule found in all living cells. A bacterium damaged by Far-UVC light may give a false positive ATP signal. In contrast, dipslide and swab tests will only show viable bacteria that are capable of dividing, also known as colony forming units (CFUs).
